Fall family photo sessions - What to wear, what to wear...
As you know this is the most time consuming and difficult part of a family photo shoot. We find that the best advice we can give our clients is to wear coordinating outfits, but not matching outfits. You don’t all need to be in khakis and a white shirts or jeans and black tops. We recommend picking two or three colors out and sticking within that palette. Here are a few examples.
The more time you allow yourself to decide what you would like everyone to wear, the more calm you will feel. Waiting until two nights before your shoot is bound to make you feel panicked.
If you want to take this one step further (if you plan on displaying this picture in your home), try and choose colors that will compliment your home decor. My home is decorated with a lot of neutrals; thus, I would never pick neon colors for our outfits. Of course I’m exaggerating, but you get the point.
Be comfortable, make it fun and enjoy!!
